With growing unemployment & reverse migration in India, there is a real concern about the shrinking consumption demand, which accounts for 57% of India’s GDP. Is the NDA Government doing enough to help revive the economy? What more can it do to revive demand, especially rural demand? Is it time to expand cash transfers & introduce a minimum income guarantee?
